We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Reprinted through the courtesy of the Indiana Gazette Helen Peterman Helen Marie Peterman, 92, Sheloc- ta RD 1 (Gastown), died Wednes- day, Jan. 7, 1998, in the Indiana Hospital. The daughter of Robert T. and Martha Jamison Prugh, she was born Dec. 9, 1905, in Atwood. Mrs. Peterman was a homemak- er. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church of Gastown and the Lutheran Church Women, was a former member of the church choir and played piano for the church. She enjoyed quilting and playing the piano. Surviving are two sons, Blair L. Peterman and Bernard R. Peter- man, both of Shelocta; six grand- children; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Orr, Creekside. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Medran Peterman, who died in 1980; two brothers, Glarence and Eugene Prugh; and an infant sister. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.'Thursdayat the Clark Chapel in Elderton. Funeral servic- es will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church in Gastown. Additional visitation will be at the church from 1-2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Alex Walbrodt will officiate and interment will be in the Atwood Cemetery.
