He was born April 5, 1863 in Rayne Twp, the son of the late J. R. and Ellen (Millen) Pearce. He also was a former resident of Blairsville. Surviving are his widow and the following four sons and one daughter: Ralph, of Lansdowne; Charles, of Ambridge; William, of Pottsville; Harry, of Jeannette, and Mrs. John Crauscrepe, of Jeannette. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. C. J. Love, of Maple Avenue, Blairsville, and Mrs. A. E. Lapsley of Glassport. Funeral services were held at 10 A.M. Monday at his late home with the Presbyterian minister officiating. Interment was in the Irwin Cemetery.
