Mrs. John Pearce succumbs to kidney troubles. Mrs. Mary M., wife of John
Pearce of Pennsylvania Avenue, died Tuesdsay afternoon of kidney disease.
She was 43 years old and is survived by her husband and six children, also
six brothers and three sisters. The obsequies were held Thursday afternoon
at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Union Cemetery. Mrs. Pearce was born
in Indiana County, removing to Irwin eight years ago. For several weeks
Mrs. Pearce was critically ill and despite medical skill and careful nursing
slowly sank to death. She was a most excellent woman and her death is deeply
deplored. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. The obsequies were
held at her late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment being
in Union Cemetery. Republican Standard, Irwin, PA. Friday, May 3, 1907
