INDIANA PROGRESS INDIANA PENNSYLVANIA April 4, 1900 CLOVER POUNDS Mr. Clover Pounds, of Marion Center, died on Sabbath morning, at 1:30 o' clock, aged 44 years. He was ill only one week and his death was due to pneumonia and heart trouble. The deceased was well known in Indiana and in the northern part of the county. For 15 years, he was employed as mail carrier, principally on the Indiana and Marion Center route. He is survived by his wife and one son, William. The funeral services were conducted in the M.E. church at Marion Center, on Monday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. Rev. J.M. Cogley, the pastor, officiated, and interment was made in the Marion Center cemetery. Clover Pounds was married to Roseanna Stpnebraker. Here is the couple on the 1880 census.
