The Indiana Progress Wed, Dec 11, 1935
Mrs. D. Steele Rowe Funeral services were conducted on Thursday in the Brethern
church, near Tanoma, Rayne township, followed by interment in the church
cemetery, for Mrs. D. Steele Rowe, a native of this county, who died December 2
at her home in Apollo from acute indigestion. The deceased, whose maiden name
was Miss Bertha Lockard, is survived by her husband and two children, Jay and
Ruth. She also leaves her father, Jesse Lockard, of Pittsburgh, and these
brothers and sisters, William Lockard and Mrs. Marie Donahue, of Dixonville;
Dennis Lockard, of Vandergrift, and Archie Lockard, Mrs. Rose Stephens and Mrs.
Albert Hartmen, of Pittsburgh.
