Radakovich, 84, of Blairs- ville, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 1997, at the Latrobe Area Hospital. Born April 2, 1913, in Superior, Derry Township, she was the daugh- ter of Celeste and Louise (Pontoli) Bertonaschi. Mrs. Radakovich was a member of the SS. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church in Blairsville. She belonged to the CD of A Court of St. Theresa, 55 Plus Club Blairsville Italian Society Auxiliary and was an alumni of St. Francis Hospital. She was a retired nurse, having worked at St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, and Torrance State Hos- pital. Surviving are two daughters: Rosemary Hall, Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Karl (Mary Anne) Hovatter, Hanover, Md.; two grandsons: Da- vid Cardellino and Seth Hall, both of Maryland; three sisters: Josephine Pesci, Butler; Theresa Gray, Cum- berland, Md; Edith Minick, Conn.; one great-granddaughter Malachia Cardellino; and one great-grandson, Luke Michael Cardellino. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael J. Radakovich, in 1987; four sisters: Annie Grassi, Mary Locati, Jennie Simoncini and Thelma Morello; and two brothers: John and Joseph Ber- tonaschi. Friends will be received Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James F. Fergu- son Funeral Home, Blairsville, where a wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the SS. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church. Father Chester J. Raimer will serve as celebrant. Interment will take place at the SS. Simon and Jude Cemetery.
