Rager, 91, Armagh, formerly of Cramer, died Dec. 24, 1997, in Lee Hospital. The daughter of Wulber and Ella Luke Foster, she was born March 1, 1906, in Cottage. She had been a member of the Cramer United Methodist Church since 1930 and was the former owner of Rager's Picnic Grove, Cramer. Surviving are children Joseph W., husband of Mary Galbraith, New Florence; Eleanor, wife of Max Isenberg, Alexandria; Russell Dean, Ithaca, N.Y.; Thomas Ed- ward, husband of Candy Reitz, Timblin; Laura Jean, wife of Ivan "Bud" Luther, Armagh; Freda Mae Amash, Grand Rapids, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grand- children; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph C. Rager; a daughter, Eileen Rager; brothers Ralph, Palmer, Marion and Guy Foster; a sister, Mildred Wil- son. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, Armagh, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Keith Lohr officiating. Interment will be in Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family re- quests donations be made to Cramer United Methodist Church, RD 1, Seward, Pa. 15954, or your favorite charity.
