Indiana Democrat (Indiana, Pennsylvania) March 31, 1937

Mrs. Flora Sara Hamilton Ross, widow of John S. Ross, of Rochester Mills, died 

in her home Saturday.  She was born April 20, 1862, the daughter of William 

Work Hamilton and Lena Ann Stewart Hamilton.  She married Orlando Park 

Schrecengost on Dec. 17, 1889.  They resided at Elderton where Mr. 

Schrecengost was a wagon maker.  He died May 24, 1907 in Colorado.  Their 

children are Lena and Virginia Milicent.  On June 26, 1912, Mrs. Schrecengost 

was united in marriage with John S. Ross, who died last October.

Rev. Hugh F. Given conducted services at the Robinson Funeral Home, Sunday at 

2:30 p.m.  Interment followed in Oakland Cemetery.
