Caroline I. Shrum, 63, Youngstown, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 1990, at the Latrobe
Area Hospital. The daughter of James K. Shrum and Florence I. Jenkins Shrum
Hartman, she was born Dec. 8, 1926, in Jeannette. Miss Shrum was a member of
Gray Station Community Church. Surviving are her mother, Blairsville, two
sisters. Mrs. Edward (Dorothy) Wensell, Palm Bay, Fla.; Mrs. Lyle (Phyllis)
Yellets, Blairsville; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her father. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Richard
L. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday with the Rev. James Henigin officiating. Interment will follow in the
Blairsville Cemetery.
