Smith, 59, widow of Harry F. Smith, died Thursday May 7, 1970, in St. Petersburg, FL. Born March 29, 1911, she was a daughter of Hosea and Lottie Charlotte Atkins Haxton. Mrs. Smith spent her early life in Starford, where she was born, some years in Indiana and lived in Florida for the past 17 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church in St. Petersburg. Surviving are the following children: One son and three daughters: Harry Smith, Petersburg, Va.; Mrs. Doris Zeilfelter, Pittsburgh; Miss Shirley, St. Petersburg. Fla.; Mrs, Margaret Cook, Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers: Charles Haxton, Fresno, Calif.; Alfred Haxton, Denver, Colo.; two sisters: Mrs. Lillian Shields, Altoona; Mrs, Sarah H. Armstrong; and five grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday at Robinson-Lytle's in Indiana where services will be conducted Monday. The Rev. R. Byron Crozier will officiate and interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
