The deceased was a veteran of the Civil war, having served in Company G, 206th regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers, under the late Capt. Gordon. He was a member of the Covenanter church for many years. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Sarah P. Young of Indiana, and Mrs. Susan E Dixon, of Josephine. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at his late residence in Josephine by Rev. S. G. Dunning. Interment was made in the Saltsburg cemetery.
