Indiana Evening Gazette Tuesday, June 3, 1930 Harry Smyers Funeral services for Harry Smyers of Trade City, whose death occurred Sunday evening, were conducted this afternoon at 2 o’clock in his late residence. Interment was made in Gilgal Cemetery. The deceased was 74 years old, having been born near Big Run, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Smyers and went, as a child, to Trade City, where he spent practically his entire life. He was married to Miss Laura J. Miller, who survives him, with an adopted daughter, Mrs. Pearl McGee of Cloe and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Stone of Big Run and Mrs. Jesse Sallada of Big Run. Mr. Smyers was a farmer and was held in much affection and esteem by a wide circle of friends and associates.
