  Leverna Snyder

 Leverna Snyder, 88, of Beacon
Manor, Indiana, formerly of Marion
Center, died Nov. 22, 1997, at Beacon
Manor.
Born Jan. 8, 1909 in Marstaller,
she was the daughter of William and
Emma Nora Lowman Elliot.
Leverna loved the Lord Jesus and
was a faithful supporter and attend-
er of the Marion Center Presbyteri-
an Church, where she was a former
treasurer of the Dorcas Circle at the
church.
Surviving are sisters Ruth Col-
betzer, Ohio and Helen Spacht,
Spangler; niece Emma Glaze, Mari-
etta, Ohio; nephew Robert Elliott,
Hillsdale; several other nieces and
nephews.
 She is preceded in death by her
parents; her husband Claude, who
died in 1974; and these brothers and
sisters, Marjorie fish, Eva Nicewonger,
Frances Dunlap, George, Gaylond
John, William and Jeanette Elliott.
 Friends will be received Monday
from 10 a.m. until the time of the
funeral service at 11 a.m., at Long-
Contres Funeral Home, Inc.,
Barnesboro. The Rev. Bruce Shan-
non will officiate. Interment will be
in McDowell Cemetery.
