  Emily Staymates

 Emily G. Staymates, 73, Saltsburg
RD 1, Conemaugh Township, died
Friday, Dec. 5, 1997, in the Universi-
ty of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
 She was born June 14, 1924, in
Salemville, the daughter of J. Ray-
mond and Helen G. Weinschenker
Simons.
 Surviving are her husband Frank
O. Staymates; two children, George
O. Staymates and his wife Carol,
Saltsburg RD 1; Mary Jane Kelly,
New Alexandria; three sisters:
Kathryn Karas and her husband
Mark, Export RD 1; Lucille Cook
and her husband Leroy, Irvin RD 5;
Gladys Reed and her husband Eu-
gene, Shippenville; four grandchil-
dren, Heather, Ben and Josie
Staymates and Melissa Kelly.
In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by two sisters,
Dorothy "Dee" Crusan; Eleanor
Lamison; two brothers, Charles Si-
mons and George Simons.
 Friends will be received at the
John L. Bash Funeral Home, 152
Abbe Place, Delmont, on Sunday
from 2-4 and 7-9 P.m. Funeral and
committal services will be held in
the funeral home on Monday at 11
a.m. with the Rev. Glen H. Burrows
officiating. Interment will be pri-
vate.
 Memorial contributions may be
made in Mrs. Staymates name to the
American Diabetes Association, 300

Pittsburgh, Pa., 15235.
