Isaac Edward "IKE" Winters, 93, husband of the late Margaret Airgood Winters of
Blairsville, died on Saturday, Oct. 25, 1969, at his late residence. A son of
James and Elizabeth Hellum Winters, he was born Aug. 28, 1876, in Cumberland
County, Pa. Mr. Winters was a resident of Indiana and vicinity for over 70
years.
He is survived by the following children: Charles W. and Mrs. W. G. (Sara)
Forsha, both of Blairsville; Perry S., of Gates Mills, Ohio; Milton, of Florida:
Mrs. Arthur (Fannie) Means, of Punxsutawney; Mrs. William (Martha) Winwood, Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla.; 12 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by three sons and two daughters: Paul, Thomas, Ernest, Mrs. Lottie
Yount and Mrs. Roxie Slagle. Friends were received on Sunday and will also be
received today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Robinson - Lytle's in Indiana where
services will be conducted on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Wood
officiating. Interment will be made in the Marchand Cemetery.
