    John Woods

John Thomas Woods, 78, Indiana,
formerly of Josephine, died Friday,
Jan. 16, 1998, in Euclid, Ohio.
 The son of John and Willie Welden
Woods, he was born Aug. 2, 1919, in
Macon, Ga.
 He worked as a coal miner until
his retirement.
 He is survived by two daughters:
Judith M. Wilson, Euclid, and Daisy
Leath, Cleveland, Ohio; six grand-
children and 12 great-grandchildren .
 He was preceded in death by his
parents; his wife, Georgia L. Ran-
dolph Woods, in 1956; his daughter,
Sharon M. Woods, in 1996; a brother,
Artese Woods; and a sister, Bertha
Ford.
 Friends will be received from 7-9
p.m. Monday at the Richard L.
Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairs-
ville, where services will be held at 1
p.m. Tuesday with the Reverends
Barbara Gunn and Hosea Neighbors
co-officiating. Interment will be in
Blairsville Cemetery.
