Mrs. Lottie Mary Yount, wife of Lewis Yount, of Home, Pa. RD 1, passed away in
the Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh Monday morning, May 13, after an illness of
several months. A daughter of I. E, and the late Margaret Airgood Winters, she
was born January 21, 1906, at Smithport, Pa., where she spent the early years of
her life. Mrs. Yount has resided her entire life in Indiana County, the past ten
years at Home, Pa., and prior to that several years at Saltsburg. Surviving her
are: Her father of Apollo; Her husband; a son, William L. Downey of Indiana;
four brothers: Paul Winters, Middletown; Charles, Blairsville; Harry, Cleveland,
Ohio, Milton, Seattle, Washington; three sisters: Mrs. William Postlewaite,
Apollo; Mrs. William Winwood, Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Glenn Forsha, Blairsville.
Also two grandchildren. Friends will be received at Robinson - Lytle's, 36 North
7th St. after 7:00 p.m. today (Tuesday) where services will be conducted
Thursday, May 16th at 1:00 p.m. (DST). The Rev. F. Burton Long, pastor of the
First Regular Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Marchand
Cemetery.
