Frost PROTHERO, son of Silas C. and Margaret PROTHERO, of Rayne twp., died
on
Saturday evening of diphtheria, aged 8 years.  His twin brother died about
two
months ago of the same disease.  His remains were interred in Oakland
cemetery
on Sunday afternoon.

September 3, 1896

Mrs. Silas PROTHERO, of Kellysburg, left Thursday for Grafton, W. Va., to
attend
the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Emily KINTER, a former resident of Rayne
township.
Mrs. KINTER had been ill for a number of years and her death was not
unexpected.
She was about 70 years of age.
