Indiana Progress May 20, 1920 Mr. and Mrs. Silas PROTHERO are visiting their daughter, Mrs. Clarence MCCORMICK. November 2, 1921 Mrs. Elizabeth LAUGHLIN, the widow of the late Joseph M. LAUGHLIN, an aged and highly esteemed resident of Indiana, died at her home on North Sixth street on Sunday morning, with a complication of diseases. She had been in declining health for several years. Mrs. LAUGHLIN was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Clark PROTHERO and was born at Home. Her husband died several years ago. She leaves these children: Mrs. D. M. MILLER, Drs. John P. and Edward J. LAUGHLIN, of Pittsburgh; Harry J. LAUGHLIN, cashier of the Indiana County Deposit bank, and Miss Anna E. LAUGHLIN, at home. These brothers and sisters are living: Silas C. PROTHERO, of Kellysburg; James PROTHERO, of Punxsatawney; Mrs. Adda P. ELKIN, Mrs. Emma P. SLOAN and Mrs. R. D. HETRICK, of this place. Funeral services were held at the LAUGHLIN home yesterday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. F. W. Hinitt, of the First Presbyterian church, and burial was made in the Oakland cemetery. October 25, 1922 Wilson KINTER and daughters, Pearl and Mrs. SPOTTS, of Virginia, visited several days at the home of his sister, Mrs. Silas PROTHERO. March 28, 1923 Mrs. May Prothero MCCORMICK, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Silas PROTHERO, of Kellysburg, died at her home in Johnstown on Sunday after an illness of several years. Mrs. MCCORMICK was a member of the Evangelical church and for the past 18 months attended Sunday and Wednesday evening services in her wheel chair. She was born in Kellysburg, spent her early life there and was united in marriage to Mr. MCCORMICK in Greesburg. Besides her husband and her parents, she leaves two brothers, Dale PROTHERO, of Kellysburg, and Charles PROTHERO, of Cleveland. The remains were brought to Indiana yesterday afternoon and funeral services were held in the chapel at the S. C. Streams undertaking rooms. Burial followed in Oakland cemetery.
