MR. WILLIAM CARSON of this place, has in his possession a Bible which is two hundred and eleven years old. It was printed in Cambridge, England, in 1648 by Roger Daniels. MARRIED. On the 31st ult., by G.P. Reed, Esq., MR. JOSEPH E. SEITZ, of Blairsville, to MISS ROSANNA ALICK, of this borough. --On the 17th ult., by Rev. Mr. Morton, MR. ELDER LAIRD, to MISS NANNIE STERLING, all of Indiana county. DIED. At her residence in Montgomery township, on the 25th of March, EVE, consort of WILLIAM RIDDLE, SR., aged 64 years, 1 month and 2 days. 12 April 1859 MARRIED. On the 30th ult., by Rev. John Carothers, MR. ANDREW B. M'CALL, of South Mahoning township, to MISS MARGARET MARIS, of East Mahoning township. --On the 7th inst., by the Rev. W.S. Emery, MR. GEORGE SCHRADER of East Mahoning township, to MISS ELIZABETH FETTSHONS, of Rayne township. DIED. In Fairfield township, Westmoreland county, on the 30th of March, MRS. COVODE, mother of HON. JOHN COVODE, in the 79th year of her age. She had been a resident of the place on which she lived for over 70 years. 19 April 1859 MARRIED. On the 7th inst., by Rev. J.C. Telford, MR. JAMES WORK to MISS ARABELLA WORK, both of East Mahoning township. --On the 12th inst., at the St. Clair Hotel in this borough, by Rev. Mr. Greer, MR. HUGH FRY, of Wheatfield township, to MISS MARGARET ALEXANDER of Blacklick township. DIED. On the 11th inst., in White township, MRS. MARGARET, wife of GEORGE CATTLEBAUGH, aged 37 years, 6 months. She leaves a bereaved husband and seven children. --At Indiana, on the morning of the 18th inst., MARY, consort of JOHN A. GROVE, aged about 24 years. --On Wednesday last, in this borough, CHRISTOPHER LYDICK, aged about 55 years. --On the 12th, JOSHUA STAFFORD, a colored man of this borough, at the advanced age of 110 years. DROWNED. Several weeks ago WILLIAM H. BEE was drowned at Conewaga Falls, in the Susquehanna, in consequence of having fallen off a raft on which he was employed as a hand by MR. MAGEE. --His father, JACOB BEE, was drowned in the Little Mahoning, about three years ago, by being knocked off a raft. REMOVED. MR. ISAAC KINTER, recent landlord of the "American Hotel," has removed to his former house in Rayne township. Our best wishes accompany him, for he is not only a good citizen, but in every sense of the term, "a clever fellow." J. HARVEY KINTER now keeps the Hotel and is a good landlord. 26 April 1859 KILLED. During the past week several head of cattle were run over by the Indiana Branch trains, and killed. ACCIDENT. EPH'M [sic] CARPENTER, ESQ., while walking in his lot adjoining this borough, a few days ago, received a fall by which he broke one of his thumbs. DROWNED. We learn that MR. THOMAS DUNCAN, of Blairsville, fell into the canal basin at Johnstown, one night last week, and was drowned. His remains were brought to Blairsville and interred. AN OLD BOOK AGAIN. JOHN McLARAN, ESQ., of this borough, has in his library, a volume of Kebles Reports, which was printed at London in the year 1575, and is, at the present time, two hundred seventy four years old. The print is exceedingly good and fair. MARRIED. On the 14th inst., by Rev. A. Donaldson, MR. RICHARD GETTY, of Rayne township, to MISS MARY J. Kingsley, MR. W.H. M'LAUGHLIN, of New Texas, Allegheny county, to MISS JEMIMA JONES, of this county. --On the 11th inst., by the Rev. C. Diehl, REV. C.L. STREAMER, to MISS SARAH ROBINSON, both of Smicksburg. --On the 12th inst., by Rev. P.S. Nellis, MR. RICHARD BAUM, of Cambria county, to MISS AGGIE JOHNSTON, of Clearfield county. --On the 14th ultimo, by James Y. Brady, Esq., MR. JOHN MILLER, of West Mahoning township, to MISS CATHERINE CALKETT, of South Mahoning township. DIED. On the 31st of March, in South Mahoning township, FRANCIS LOCKARD, in the 73rd year of his age. --In South Mahoning township, on the 6th inst., NANCY ELIZABETH, daughter of D.C. AND E.J. DAVIS, aged 1 year, 8 months and 9 days. --In Armstrong township, on the 22nd inst., MRS. RACHAEL, wife of JOHN KERR, aged about 27 years.
