The Indiana Times Wed, Sep 25, 1901
The marriage of Charles Porter, of Pitcairn, and Miss Irene Bennett, of White
township, occurred Wednesday, September 18, 1901, at noon, at the home of the
bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B. Bennett. The ceremony was performed by
Rev. A. J. Furman, of this place, in the presence of about fifty invited guests.
The young couple received a number of useful presents. They will make their home
at Pitcairn.
