Before an altar decorated with lilies, pa!ms and lighted tapers, Miss Bertha
Gevene Carlson, daughter of William Carlson and the late Mrs. Carlson, of
Hillside, and James Edward Forsha, of Blairsville, son of Addison Forsha, of
Clymer, R. D., and Mrs. Margaret Waugaman Forsha, late of Blairsville, were
united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, November 13th, at 4 o'clock. The
ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Ellis Duke,
Blairsville, R. D. 3. The Rev. G. A. Marks, pastor of the Hillside Church,
performed the single ring ceremony. Miss Gladys Alter, of Blairsville, sang "I
Love You Truly," "Because," and the prayer "Our Father." She was accompanied by
Mrs. G. A. Marks, wife of the pastor.
