      Scalese -- Small


 Kristina Pauline Scalese and Bryant James Small were
united in marriage recently at the Montgomery Church of the
Brethren, Purchase Line. Pastor Dennis Neely from the
Gipsy Christian Church performed the double-ring ceremo-
ny.
 The bride is the daughter of Paul and Barbara Scalese of
Cherry Tree. The groom is the son of Ronald and Bettie Small
of Gipsy.
 Soloists were Krista Neely and Angela Small.
 The maid of honor was Brenna Phillips of Cherry Tree.
Bridesmaids were Angela Small, sister of the groom, Gipsy;
Jill McWilliams, Erie; Holly Corio, Spangler; and Elissa
Scalese, sister of the biùide. The flower girl was Mackenzie
Scalese, niece of the bride, Cherry Tree.
 The best man was Curtis Small, brother of the groom,
Cipsy. The ushers were Paul Scalese III, brother of the
bride; Bob McCombs, Clymer; John Houck, Clymer; and
Brandon Scalese, nephew of the bride, Glen Campbell.
 Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. John's
Church hall, Dixonville. The couple enjoyed a week in Ocean
City, Md., for their honeymoon.
 The bride is a 1992 graduate of Purchase Line High School
and a 1995 graduate of Thiel College. She is attending Clarion
University for a bachelor of science degree in special
education.
 The groom is a 1990 graduate of Purchase Line High
School. He is attending Clarion University for a bachelor of
science degree in secondary education.
 The couple resides in Brookville.
