We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Indiana County Pennsylvania Clerk of the Orphans Court Will Book # 3 Page 481 No. 2572 In the name of God, I Melinda McClure of the village of Diamondville in the township of Cherryhill County of Indiana and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this of this frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament that is to say, first after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged the residue of my Estate Real and Personal I give dispose of as follows, to wit to my son Thomas the lot of ground lying in the village of Diamond, Cherryhill Twp Indiana County known on plot of said village as NO 11 eleven being 59 feet in front and extending back two hundred feet, it being the Same lot of ground Conveyed to Melinda McClure by Samuel Johnston Administrator of John Clark deceased, And my will is that the property whereon I now reside I give and bequeath to my five daughters namely to Emily Intermarried with John C. Conner, and Mary, Elenor Intermarried to Wm. George, and Catherine Jane and Florence G., these my five daughters is to have the lot and buildings on Said lot, wherein I now reside.  My will is that the five named children hold and possess Said lot and maintain until my youngest daughter is Eighteen years of age, that the named property bequeathed to my five daughters be sold and the money arising from the Sale of the Same Shall be equally divided amongst them Share and Share alike, if it is their wish to have it Sold, if not their desire to have it sold the are to use and dispose of Said property as they may see proper.  My will is that my personal property be disposed of as follows viz: to my five named daughters at any time after my decease share and share alike except Florence G. is to have fifty dollars more than the four other daughters.  Likewise I make constitute and appoint my daughter Emily B. Conner to be my Executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In Witness whereof I have hereunto Subscribed my name and fixed my seal the Nineteenth day of October in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Nine. Melinda McClure The above written instrument was suscribed by the said Melinda McClure in our presence and acknowledged by her to each of us and She at the same time published and declared the above instrument So Subscribed to be her Last Will and Testament and we at testators request and in her presence have signed our names as Witness hereto and written opposite our names our respective places of residence. Black, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said County, was duly proved, and therefore approved the foregoing instrument of writing as and for the last will and testament of Melinda McClure, late of Diamondville Cherry hill township, said County, deceased by the oaths of Jno Oneal, Alex McDonald & Frederick Gaston, the Subscribing witness thereto.  Same Day letters Testamentary issued to Mrs. Emily Conner, Executrix, in said will named.  She having first been duly sworn according to law.
