Date: 13 April 1829 Grantors: "James Latemer Elizabeth and Margarett Latemer Executor and executrix of the Estate of George Latemer late of the city of Philadelphia Decd by Charles C Gaskill their attorney in fact" Grantee: Fredrick Kuhnly Consideration: One Hundred and Fifty-Three Dollars ($153.00) Description: "...the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by patent under the seal of said Commonwealth dated the Twenty first day of January AD 1828 did grant and confirm unto the said James Elizabeth and Margaret Latemer a certain tract of land containing 1081 3/4 [?] acres situated in Bradays [Brady's] former district No five now in the county of Jefferson which whch [sic] said tract of land was surveyed and returned upon Warrant numbred [sic] 3853 as by a reference to said patents enrolled in the Rolls office in Patent Book 4 volum [sic] 25 page 138 reference being thereunto had will more fully appear..." Frederick Kuhnley has purchased a portion of this tract, described as, "...all that certain tract of land situated lying and being in You[n]g Township Jefferson County State of Pennsylvania bounded and described as follows Viz Beginning at a Lyme Thence North 89 degrees East two hundred and two perches to a Hemlock Thence South one degree East Eighty five perches to a Hemlock Thence South 89 degrees West two hundred and four perches to a lyme Thence North Eighty five perches to the place of begining [sic] containing one hundred and two acres and allowance of six per cent being part of allotment No 4 of tract No 3853 Surveyed to Doctor William Cathcart in pursuance of said Warrant [3853]" Signed: James Latemer, Elizabeth Latemer, Margaret Latemer, Executors to the Estate of George Latemer Decd; Charles C Gaskill, their agent and Attorney Witnessed: James M Comb, Elijah J Heath Consideration received in full the date of the indenture; signed by Charles C Gaskill for James Latemer et al. Charles C Gaskill appeared before Elijah Heath, a Justice of the Peace, and acknowledged the indenture to be the act and deed of James, Elizabeth, and Margaret Latemer.
