 Richard & Alexander White & wife
   To
 John D. Phillipi [sic] [Phillippi]

 "This Indenture made the twelfth day of February in the year of 
 our lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six Between Richard White 
 & Catharine his wife by their attorney in fact Thomas White and Alexander 
 M White and Mariah L his wife by their attorney in fact Thomas White 
 of the first part and John D Phillipi Esquire of the other part . . ." 

 Consideration: $377.25
 Receipt acknowledged by instrument

 Description:  "All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in Winslow
Township Jefferson County Beginning at a Beech thence by land Sold ________
[underscore] Kennedy East one hundred and forty five perches to a Sugar
thence  by land Surveyed to Timothy Pickering & Co No 125 South one hundred
and thirty perches to a Hickory  thence by land Sold Isaac Jordon west one
hundred and forty five perches to an Ironwood and thence by land Surveyed to
Timothy Pickering & Co No 213 one hundred and thirty perches to the Beginning
Containing  one hundred and Seven acres & ninety three perches & allowance of
Six per cents &c  Being part of a larger  tract of land Surveyed on warrant
to Timothy Pickering &Co No 219 and patented to Leonard Kip [Kiss?] and
which  by con___y conveyance & assurance hath become vested in the said
Richard and Allexander [sic] White in fee . . ."
