  Civil War Pension Record
  The many papers in the pension packet give the following information:
  June 2, 1858 - Jacob CAMPBELL and Elizabeth SILVIS were married in Clarion Co., PA.
  Sept 5, 1860 - John L. CAMPBELL, son of Jacob & Elizabeth CAMPBELL, was born in 
    Ringgold, Jefferson, PA.
  Aug 18, 1861 - Jacob CAMPBELL, age 26, enrolled at Pittsburgh, PA for 3 years
  Aug 28, 1861 - Jacob CAMPBELL mustered into service as a Private and Musician
  July 4, 1862 - Jacob CAMPBELL wounded in the shoulder in the Battle at White Oak Swamps
  July 8, 1862 - Jacob CAMPBELL died in the U.S. Hospital in Charles City, Virginia
  July 8, 1862 - Jacob CAMPBELL was buried in Annapolis National Cemetery, Maryland 
  Sep 27, 1862 - Elizabeth E. CAMPBELL, first applied for widow's pension; Judge 
    Thompson of Jefferson Co., PA signed
  July 8, 1862 - Elizabeth receives Pension of $8 per month beginning date of Jacob's death
  May 1, 1865 - John SILVIS, Grandfather of John L. CAMPBELL, declares he wants 
    to be Guardian of John L. CAMPBELL, son of Jacob CAMPBELL.
  Jan 21, 1866 - Elizabeth E. CAMPBELL, died at Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
  May 6, 1866 - John SILVIS, Grandfather of John L. CAMPBELL, apointed Guardian 
    of John L. CAMPBELL, orphan son of Jacob & Elizabeth (SILVIS) CAMPBELL.
  Dec 6, 1869 - James McWILLIAMS appointed guardian of minor John L. CAMPBELL.
  1878 - John L. CAMPBELL reaches age 18; thus ending pension payments.

  1870 Census - PA, Armstrong Co., Wayne Twp., Dayton P.O.; Dayton Soldiers 
  Orphans School; p.22, line 11, taken 12 July 1870:  John L. CAMPBELL age 10, 
  attending school, born PA.
  
  1880 Census - PA, Redbank Twp., Clarion, ED77, p.10B, line 26, #101-105, taken 
  5 June 1880:  John L. CAMPBELL, age 19, boarder, single, attends school, born 
  PA, both parents born PA.  John is living with James McWILLIAMS, age 52, 
  merchant, and wife, Catharine age 46, and daughters Jennie age 19 and Clara age
