Raftsman's Journal. (Clearfield, Pa.) April 7, 1858
Eli S. Bishop, of Brookville, was killed on the 23d ult., on a raft, at Bethlehem
dam. The raft ran against a pier, and threw a stick back, which struck Mr. Bishop,
causing death in a few minutes.
