ALLEN Charles H. Allen, of Allens Mills died early Wednesday, March 27 in the Hamot Hospital, Erie, Pa. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced later by the Winrot Carlson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Allen residence in Allens Mills with the Rev. Daniel Little officiating. Friends are being received at the residence after 2 p.m. Thursday. BROCKWAY (PA) RECORD - April 4, 1968 CHARLES H. ALLEN Funeral services for Charles H. Allen were held Friday, March 29, at 2:00 p.m., from his residence with the Rev. Daniel Little officiating. Interment followed in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Charles H. Allen, 70, of RD 1, Reynoldsville (Allens Mills) died Wednesday, March 27, 1968, in the Hamot Hospital, Erie. He was born in Allens Mills, April 12, 1897, a son of Dillis and Nina Baker Allen and was married to Helen Blakeslee. Mr. Allen was self-employed as a petroleum wholesaler. The World War I veteran was a member of the Brockway Presbyterian Church, the John M. Read Lodge No. 536 F&AM, Jaffa Shrine of Altoona, and the Coudersport Consistory. Surviving are his wife Helen, three children, Margaret Jane Allen of Washington, D.C.; Jerry Bob Allen of Cody, Wyoming and James Allen of Reynoldsville RD; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Allen and Margaret Morrison Allen, both of Brookville.
