CAPOZZIELLO Peter G. Capozziello, 54, 2716 Rudolph Ave., died Monday at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Shawmut, May 30, 1924, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Capozziello. He had worked as a truck driver for the Erie Streets Department for 16 years, was a member of the Professional Golfer's Association and a starter at Downing Golf Course. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a sergeant during World War II in the 702 Red Devil Tank Battalion. Besides his parents, survivors include his widow, Philomena Bilotti Capozziello; two sons, Mark and Philip Capozziello; three sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Lucille) Bova, Mrs. Vincent (Joan) Jaskiewicz, and Mrs. Robert (Ann) Fisher of Lake City; and three brothers, John Capozziello, Vincent Capozziello, Jr. of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Nick Capozziello of Charlotte, N.C. Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 a.m. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
