  Punxsutawney Spirit
   Leo F. Schlemmer, Elwood City, died Wednesday evening, 19 Sept, 1979 in his 
  home at the age of 83. 
  Mr. Schlemmer was born in Punxsutaney on 27 Jan, 1896 the son of William D. 
  and Mary Elizabeth Barnett Schlemmer. He was married in 1917 to Hazel I. Himes 
  who preceded him in death in 1971.   Surviving include five daughters: Mrs. J. 
  Kenneth (Ethel) Bollinger, Mrs. Clyde (Elsie) McKinney, Jr., Mrs. Jack (June) 
  Shaffer, Mrs Russell (Leona) Radaker, Mrs. Robert (Marjory) Ferrese, all of 
  Elwood City area; two sisters, Miss Sarah Schlemmer, Mrs Edna Smith both of 
  Punxsutawney. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. 
  Interment in Sylvania Halls Memorial Park in Elwood City.
