R. McGee, suffered stroke 13 weeks ago. Frank Simpson, of DuBois, formerly of this city, died in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ira R. McGee, of South Penn Street, this morning at the age of 77 uears. The deceased came here to visit his daughter and suffered a stroke of paralysis 13 weeks ago, from which he never regained consciousness. He was born in the Paradise Settlement section and reared to young manhood there. Fifty-seven years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Laura Varner and they went to housekeeping near Big Run. They came to Punxsutawney shortly after and lived here for many years, moving to DuBois about 12 years ago. His wife died just a few months ago. The deceased was a member of the Moose Lodge and was held in high regard by his many friends. He leaves the following daughter and sons: Mrs. I. R. McGee, of Punxsutawney; Mrs. Emmet Clark, Russell and Harry Simpson, of DuBois; Mrs. Frank Murray of near Luthersburg, and Bert, of Jersey Shore. Funeral services will be held in the home of his daughter in which he died on South Penn Street, beginning at 2 o'clocl Monday afternoon with Rev. W. G. Fulton in charge. Interment will be made in the Morningside Cemetary in DuBois. Additional Comments: Children: Mrs. Ira R.
