DONALD WINGARD R. Donald Wingard, 81, of Williamsville, N.Y., a former Bradford resident, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday in the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Williamsville, after a long illness. He was born July 27, 1909, in Munderf, a son of Henry and Ella Crispin Wingard. He married Edna Calhoun, who died in 1986. Mr. Wingard was employed by the Minard Run Oil Co., and after his retirement, was employed as a custodian at the Lafayette grade school. He was a former member of the Lafayette Evangelical Christian Church. Surviving are two sons, Morris Wingard of Lockport, N.Y., and Donald Wingard of Akron, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Ora Mortimer of Knoxville and Hazel Davis of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one brother, Harold Wingard of Segal (sp); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Friends will be received at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral homes, South Avenue, from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, at which time funeral and committal services will be conducted with Dr. Daniel Heinz, pastor of First Wesleyan Church, officiating.
