  American Volunteer Newspaper (Carlisle, PA) 2/9/1851
  Died at residence of son-in-law, William Curren, near Greenfield, Ohio at age 
  74 and is buried in the "Old Graveyard" in near Greenfield, Highland Co., 
  Ohio. She was the wife of William Bratton who it is believed predeceased her.
  
  Additional Comments:
  Mrs. Bratton was born 1777 and had seven children. Most, if not all, were born 
  in Juniata Co., including one daughter also named Lucretia. They are buried 
  side-by-side in the "Old Graveyard" near Greenfield, Highland Co., Ohio.  
  Several of her children were baptized in the Mifflintown/Lost Creek Presby. 
  Church around 1810.  Of her seven children John Beatty Bratton was perhaps the 
  most notable as editor of the American Volunteer and other Harrisburg area 
  newspapers.
