She was the wife of William Bratton who it is believed predeceased her. Additional Comments: Mrs. Bratton was born 1777 and had seven children. Most, if not all, were born in Juniata Co., including one daughter also named Lucretia. They are buried side-by-side in the "Old Graveyard" near Greenfield, Highland Co., Ohio. Several of her children were baptized in the Mifflintown/Lost Creek Presby. Church around 1810. Of her seven children John Beatty Bratton was perhaps the most notable as editor of the American Volunteer and other Harrisburg area newspapers.
