Juniata sentinel. (Mifflintown, Pa.) 1846-1873: April 23, 1873
At Lock Haven, on the 13th inst., after a brief illness, William Jones, son of
Absalom and Catharine Jones, formerly of Fayette township, Juniata county, aged 33
years and 5 months. The deceased enlisted in the army at the breaking out of the
rebellion and served during the war, at the close of which he was honorably
discharged. He was a brave soldier.
