O'Donnell, a brakeman on Mifflin Local, was so seriously injured by the cars, in the vicinity of the coal wharf, this city, that he died in forty minutes after the accident. He was adjusting a bullnose on a car standing on a side track, when a draft of cars struck the one he was working on. He was thrown to the track and the wheels passed over the lower part of his bowels. He was conscious until the end and talked to those about him, bidding them good-bye as calmly as though he were going on a brief visit. He was a single man, aged about 25 years, and resided with his parents at Mifflintown. The Huntingdon Journal, Huntingdon, Pa., Friday, July 15, 1887
