  Obituary from Mifflintown paper dated August 25, 1960
  
  Mrs. John J. Patterson, Jr.
  
  Mrs. Nelle Olivia North Patterson passed away Wednesday, Aug..
  17, 1960, at the Colder nursing home near Mifflintown where she
  had been a resident for six years.  She was born Dec. 23 1872,
  daughter of the late Washington S. and Olivia J. North of Mifflin.
       She was a lifelong member of the Mifflintown Westminster
  United Presbyterian Church.
       Her husband, the late John J. Patterson Jr., preceded her in
  death, March 1935.  Their son, Cmdr John J. Patterson, III U.S. Navy
  died in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1941.
       Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Lucretia P. Skinner of
  River Edge New Jersey, and Mrs. Olivia P. Rousch of Mifflintown; a
  sister, Miss Mary E. North of Mifflin and five grand children, John
  J. Patterson, IV, Gay Patterson and Mrs. Thomas Maher, all of new
  Bloomfield, Pa.  Orville B skinner Jr. of Dallas, Texas, and
  Donovan E. Rousch of Philadelphia, Pa;  also six great
  grandchildren.
  Burial was in the Patterson family vault in Mifflintown Presbyterian cemetery.
       Services were held Saturday Aug. 20th at 2:30 p.m. at the Guss
  Funeral Home, 20 S. Third street, Mifflintown,  the Rev. Elmer J.
  Davis of Pottsville officiated.
