(Mifflintown, Pa.) 1846-1873: August 21, 1872 On the Sabbath morning, Aug. 18th, 1872, in Fayette township, Mr. John Robinson, aged 65 years, 3 months and 6 days. He was born in Milford township in this county (then Mifflin), on the 12th of May, 1807, and was of Scottish-Irish parentage; member of the Presbyterian church; about 40 years ago, he removed to the home at which he died, in Lost Creek Valley. Here he reared a family of four daughters and one son who survive him. In 1856 he was elected an elder of the Presbyterian church of Lost Creek Valley to supply the vacancy left by the death of the Hon. William Sharon, which position as an office-bearer in the church he held until his death...
