Juniata sentinel. (Mifflintown, Pa.): January 03, 1872
On the 23rd ult., in Greenwood township, Perry county, Pa., Ulrich Rumbaugh, aged 84
years and 10 days.  The deceased was one of the oldest and most respected citizens
of this commnity. He was the father of 14 children. He had 68 grand children, and 64
great grand children. In 1839, Mr. Rumbaugh connected himself with the Lutheran
Church at Thompsontown, when there were but few members and no place of worship but
a common school house...
