  POMEROY - VAN DYKE - February 7, 1878, at the residence of the bride's uncle, 
  R. A. Robinson, Esq., by Rev. W. S. Oliver, Mr. S. C. Pomeroy to Miss Aggie 
  S. Van Dyke, both of Academia, Juniata county, Pa.
  
    The well-wishes of a host of friends and acquaintances attend the nuptials 
  of these parties.  To them may life's journey be one of unending happiness, 
  intensified as the shadows lengthen, and may they ever realize that
      "There is nothing so kingly as kindness,
         And nothing so royal as truth."
