                        Gertrude Cusick Taken By Death
  
       Mrs. Gertrude Cannon Cusick, 1723 Jackson Street, widow of Michael
  P. Cusick, Died unexpectly yesterday afternoon at her home.
  
       Her husband, who died Dec. 10, 1953 formerly operated Cusick's
  Cafe in West Scranton.
  
       Daughter of Patrick and Henrietta Muskey Cannon, Mrs. Cusick was
  a life long resident of the city and communicant of St. Patrick's
  Church.
  
       Surviving are a nephew, Robert E. Brennan, Dalton, and a niece
  Mrs. Francis E. Redington, This City, society writer for the Tribune and
  Scrantonian.
  
       The funeral will be friday at 9:30 am from the Cusick Funeral
  Home, 217 Jefferson Ave., with a mass at 10 am in St. Patrick's
  Church. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call at
  the Funeral Home tonight 7 to 10 and tomorrow 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm.
