Muskey of North Scranton died Sunday at Abington Manor. Clarks Summit. His wife the former Joan Jennings. Born in Scranton, son of Carl and Gertrude McGovern O'Boyle Muskey. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was educated in Scranton Public Schools And was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, Class of 1957. He was an army veteran, serving with the 109th Infantry National Guard. Prior To retirement, he was employed by Asplundh Tree Co. and New York Tree Preservation for 32 years and Marywood College for 10 years. He was member of Teamsters Local 229, the Polish Club and the Tauras Club. Also, surviving are two sons, James R. and John C Jr., and wife Sheree, Scranton a brother James O'Boyle, Manassas, Va., a sister Margaret Watkins, Scranton; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 am from the Mcgoff-hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 1401 Capouse Avenue, with a mass of Christian burial at 10 am in Holy Rosary Church, William Street. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
