  C. William Myers, 68, formerly of Dover, N.J., and McAdoo, died Saturday night 
  at Whitehall Manor, Whitehall. His wife, the former Ann Slutter, died in 2004. 
  
  Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Howard and Gail Malsom Myers, he was a 
  graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 1958. He was a retired foreman 
  and color matcher for the L.E. Carpenter Co., Wharton, N.J.
  
  He served in the Army and was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, 
  McAdoo.
  
  Surviving are a son, Gordon and wife, Barbara, Whitehall; three brothers, Allan 
  and wife, Pat, Taylor; Theron and wife, Carol, Pittsburgh; and Howard and wife, 
  Virginia, Scranton; several nieces and nephews.
  
  The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. from the Davies and Jones Funeral Chapel 
  Inc., 135 S. Main Ave., with services by the Rev. Richard Jagger, pastor of 
  Embury United Methodist Church. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
  
  Friends may call Thursday, 4 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to 
  Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th St., Allentown, 18103.
