Wickizer Sanborn, April 16,1842- March 22, 1918 DEATH OF DR. FANNY W. SANBORN AT CLARKS SUMMIT TODAY Dr. Fanny W. Sanborn, a resident of 1334 Penn Avenue, this city, died this morning at 3:30 oíclock at the home of her niece, Mrs. A.J. Hartwick , in Clarks Summit. Dr. Sanborn had been in poor health since early last fall, and from Thanksgiving Day was mostly confined to her room and bed. She was among the first women medical practitioners in northeastern Pennsylvania having registered as a physician ever since the law requiring such became effective. She had practiced medicine some years previous to that. Dr. Sanborn was prominent in Spiritualistic circles, and her home was a meeting place for its followers. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. E.
