Philip Wickizer passed peacefully away from this life January 24, 1893 at the age of 78 years and 3 days. Mr. Wickizer's wife died less than three months ago, and he felt his great loss keenly, but accepted his cross with fortitude sustained by an unfaltering faith in Him who doeth all things for the best. His life was that of a strictly temperate man, and the spirit of piety sanctified his home and his children, who mourn him to-day, grew up in an atmosphere purified by his pious, unselfish life. He is survived by three sons and two daughters and twenty-one grandchildren. Funeral on Thursday at 2 PM at his residence.
