                     MARRIED FIFTY YEARS
  
  
                  MR. AND MRS. W. E. CAHOON

       Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Cahoon, Fairfield street, will celebrate their golden wedding    
     anniversary Wednesday with open house from 2 to 5 o'clock and from 7 to 10 o'clock 
     in the evening.  The couple was married in the parsonage of Adams Avenue Methodist 
     Church by Rev. C. McLean, Mrs. Cahoon being the former Miss Sadie Moyer, Mr. 
     Cahoon is a native of Newton Township.  They have resided at 1108 Fairfield Street for 
     the past forty five years.  They have one daughter, Miss Ruth M. Cahoon, a member of 
     the North Scranton Junior High School faculty; a son, Attorney Donald B. Cahoon, and 
     one grandson, Donald B. Cahoon Jr.
