All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/lancaster/ _______________________________________________ Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Deed Book 1, page 465-466 Warwick Township Written: May 7, 1804 Recorded: May 18, 1808 Christian Becker & Wife to John V Dishong } THIS INDENTURE made the seventh day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand and eight hundred and four Between Christian Becker of Warwick Township in the County of Lancaster and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania yeoman & Ann his Wife of the one part and John V Deshong of the Township of Warwick and County of Lancaster aforesaid Sorivener of the other part Witnesseth that the said Christian Becker & Ann his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred and eighty pounds lawful money of the state of Pennsylvania afsd. to them in hand well and truly paid by the said John V Deshong at and before the ensealing and Delivery hereof the receipt where of they do hereby acknowledge and thereof do acquit and forever discharge the said John V Deshong his heirs Executors and administrators by these presents have granted bargained sold aliened, enfeoffed released and Confirmed by These presents do grant bargain, sell, alien enfeoff release and Confirm unot the said John V Deshong and to his heirs and assigns All that Certain Mefsuage and Lot or piece of ground situate lying and being in the said Township of Warwick and County of Lancaster aforesaid Bounded and described by the Lines as follows to wit, Beginning at a Stone in a line of Andrew Shober's Land thence extending by the same South two degrees West twenty seven perches and two tenths to a Stone thence by Land of George Meintzer south eighty two degrees West forty five perches and one quarter to a Stone thence by Land now or late of Samuel Huber North six degrees East forty two perches and one quarter to a Stone thence by land of said George Maitzer North eighty two degrees and a half East twenty eight perches and nine thenths to a Stone thence by Land of Daniel Erb South twenty nine East thirteen perches and eight tenths to a Stone and south eighty six degrees East six perches and a half to the place of Beginning Containing ten acres and fifty perches neat measure [It being part of a larger Tract of Land which Christian Eyer and Magdalena his Wife by their Indenture bearing date the sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight after reciting as therein is recited for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto Andrew Shober in fee as in and by the said Indenture Recorded in the office for recording of Deeds in and for the County of Lancaster in Book GG page 388 may appear And the said Andrew Shover and Rosina his wife by their Indenture bearing date the twenty fifth day of January 1802 for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm part thereof (being the herein before mentioned Lot) unto the said Christian Becker to hold to him the said Christian Becker his heirs and afsigns forever as by the said last recited Indenture reference there to being had may also appear Together also with all and singular the houses out houses Barns Stables Gardens Orchards Meadows Fields Fences Ways Woods waters water courses Rights Liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders Rents issues and profits thereof and also all the Estate, Right Title, Interest use Trust property possession Claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Christian Becker and Ann his Wife in Law or equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same To have and to hold the said Ten Acres and fifty perches of Land hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said John V Dishong his heirs and assigs to the only proper use and behoof of him the said John V Deshong his heirs and assigns forever And the said Christian Becker and Ann his Wife for themselves or their heirs Executors and administrators do convenant promise grant and agree to and with the said John V Deshong and his heirs and assigns by these presents, that they the said Christian Becker and Ann his wife and their heirs the said Mefsuage and Lot of Ground containing ten acres and fifty perches Hereditaments and premise hereby granted and released or mentioned or intended so the be with the Appurtenances, unto the said John V Deshong and his Heirs and Assigns; against them the said Christian Becker and Ann his wife and their heirs and against all and every other person and persons whomsoever Lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part or parcel there of shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and selas; Dated the day and year first above written Christian Becker {seal} [German signature] Ann Becker {seal} [German signature] Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us} Susanna Lehnert, Peter Lehnert} Received the day of the Date of the above written Indenture of and from the above named John V Deshong the sum of one hundred and eighty pounds in Gold and silver money it being the Consideration money above mentioned in full I say received by me Christian Becker [German signature] Witness present at Signing} Susanna Lehnert Peter Lehnert} Lancaster County ss Be it remembered that on the seventh day of May Anno Domini 1804 Before me Peter Lehnert Esquire one of the justices of the peace of the said County came the above named Cristian Becker and Ann his Wife and acknowledged the above Indenture to be Their act and Deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such according to Law Peter Lehnert {seal} Recorded the 18th day of May Anno Domini 1808 I Edwin L Reinhold do certify that the foregoing Deed was duly recorded in Record Book No 1. page 465 during the official term of G Ross my predecessor in office which said Deed was left for record on the 18th day of May A.D. 1808 and lacking lease uncertified is now certified so required by law Edwin L Reinhold Recorder
