All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/lancaster/ _______________________________________________ Warwick Township Written: May 4, 1819 Recorded: April 26, 1820 This Indenture, made the fourth day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and nineteen Between John V Dishong of Warwick Township in the County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania Surveyer and Catharine his wife of the one part and Martin Bitser of Leacock Township in the County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania Yeoman of the other part Witnesseth, That the said John V Dishong and Catharine his wife for and in consideration of the sum of ten hundred and ninety five dollars current money of the United States to them well and truly in hand paid by the said Martin Bitser at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof (the recent and payment whereof they do hereby acknowledge, and thereof de acquit and forever discharge the said Martin Bitzer his Heirs, Executor and Administrators, by these present(s) have and each of them hath granted bargained sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, and by these presents do and each of them doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Martin Bitser his Heirs and Assigns, and de All that certain Mefsuage & Lot or piece of land situate lying and being in Warwick township in the county of Lancaster aforesaid bounded and described as follows to wit Beginning at a Stone in a line late of Andrew Shobers now Peter Felise[?] land thence extending by the same south two degrees west twenty seven perches and two tenths to a Stone thence by land late of George Mentzer south eighty two degrees west forty five perches and one quarter to a stone thence by land of Peter Krider north six degrees east forty two perches and one quarter to a Stone, then by other land late of said George Mentzer north eighty two degrees and a half east twenty eight perches and nine tenths to a Stone thence by land of Daniel Erb south twenty nine degrees east thirteen perches and eight tenths to a Stone and south eighty six degrees east six perches and a half to the place of Beginning containing ten acres and fifty perches neat measure. It being the same Mefsuage and lot of land which Christian Becker and Ann his wife by their Indenture dated the Seventh day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred & four after reciting as therein is recited for the consideration therein mentioned granted and confirmed to said John V Dishong (first party hereto) in fee as by said Indenture recorded at Lancaster in Book No 1 page 465 & may appear TOGETHER with all and singular the houses, out-houses, edifices and building thereon erected and being…and all ways, waters, water courses, woods, trees, fences, gardens, orchards, rights, liberties, privileges, advantages, hereditaments, and appertenances whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining…and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof: And also all the estate, right, title, interest, use, trust, property, possession, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said John V Dishong and Catharine his wife in law or equity, or otherwise however, of, in, to, or out of the same To have and to hold the said Mefsuage and Lot of Land hereditaments and premises, hereby granted and released (or mentioned or intended so to be) with the appurtenances, unto the said Martin Bitser his Heirs and Assigns, to the only proper use, benefit, and behoof of the said Martin Bitser his Heirs and Assigns forever… AND the said John V Dishong & Catharine his wife for themselves and their Heirs, Executors and Administrators, do covenant, promise, grant and agree to and with the said Martin Bitser his Heirs and Assigns, by these presents, that they the said John V Dishong & Catharine his wife and their Heirs the said Mefsuage & lot of Land hereditaments and premises hereby granted and relaxed (or mentioned or intended so to be) with the appurtenances unto the said Martin Bitzer his Heirs and Assigns, against them the said John V Dishong & Catharine his wife and their Heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same by from or under him her or them or any other of them shall and will warrant, and forever defend by these presents… And further, that they the said John V Dishong & Catharine his wife and their Heirs, and all and every other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim any estate, right title or interest whatsoever, of, in, to or out of the said hereby granted premises or any part thereof, by, from or under him her or them or any or either of them shall and will from time to time and at all dates hereafter, upon reasonable request and at the proper costs and charges in the law of the said Martin Bitser his Heirs or assigns, make, do, execute and acknowledge, or cause and procure to be made, done, executed and acknowledged all and every such further and other lawful and reasonable act or acts, deed or deeds device or devides, conveyances and assurances in the law whatsoever, for the further, better, more, sure, perfect and absolute granting, conveying, assuring and confirming the said Mefsuage and lot of Land hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released (or mentioned or intended so to be) with the appurtenances unto the said Martin Bitser his Heirs and Assigns forever, as by him or them or his or their counsel learned in the law shall be reasonably advised, devised or required. IN WITNESS whereof, the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their HANDS and SEALS…dated the day and year first above written.
