Patent to Isabella Crawford

Thomas Penn and John Penn Esquires true and absolute Proprietaries and Governors
in Chief of the province of Pennsylvania and Counties of New Castle Kent ans
Sussex on Delaware To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Whereas In
pursuance of a Warrant dated the twenty seventh day of January 1748/9 there was
surveyed for Thomas Kenny A Certain Tract of Land called Kennings Delight"
Situate in East Pennsboro Township formerly Lancaster now Cumberland County
Beginning at a marked Hickory...Containing One hundred and ninety two Acres and
one hundred and thirty four perches and allowance of Six Acres > for Roads and
Highways And Whereas the said Thomas Kenny dyed intestate and left Isabella his
Widow who is since intermarried with James Crawford and Thomas his only Child
and Heir at Law 

More the said Isabella Crawford having humbly requested us to grant our Patent
of Confirmation for the said Tract of land to herself and her said Son Know Ye
that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twenty nine Pounds eighteen
Shillings lawfull Money of Pennsylvania to our Use paid by the said Isabella
Crawford the receipt whereof we hereby acknowledge and thereof do acquit and
forever discharge the said Isabella Crawford her Heirs and Assigns by these
presents and of the yearly Quit Rent herein after mentioned and reserved We have
given granted released and confirmed and b these presents for us our Heirs ans
Successors do give grant release and Confirm unto the said Isabella Crawford and
Thomas Kenny their Heirs and Assigns the said aboved described Tract of Land as
the same is now set forth bounded and limited as aforesaid With all Mines
Minerals Quarries Meadows Marshes Savannahs ? Swamps Woods Underwoods Timber and
Trees Ways Waters Water--Courses Liberties Profits Commodities Advantages ? and
Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging...
