Of Cocallico Township in the County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania Yeoman, SENDETH GREETING: WHEREAS the said Jacob Mellinger Senr and Christiana his wife by Indenture under their hands and seals bearing date the fourth day of April, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty three for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto David Erron and to his heirs and assigns a CERTAIN Messuage or Tenement and Tract of land situate in Cocalico Township aforesaid by marks and bounds in the same Indenture particularly described CONTAINING Thirty six acres and ninety four perches & the allowance with the appurtenances TO HOLD the same to him his heirs and assigns forever, as in and by the said recited Indenture, reference being thereunto had appears. AND WHEREAS the said David Erron on the same day executed a Judgement Bond to the said Jacob Mellinger Senr. CONDITIONED for the payment of Twelve Hundred Dollars entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster county to April Term 1823 No. 174 references being thereunto had appears. AND WHEREAS the said David Erron and Christiana his wife by five different Indentures each bearing even date herewith for the Consideration therein respectively mentioned did grant and confirm unto Christian Henly Senr. Michael Henly (Weaver) Christian Rieg, John Mentzer (Mason) and Adam Sherb Jr. (Shoemaker) and to their respective heirs and assigns five lots of ground parts of the above recited Larger Tract by marks and bounds each lot in the same Indentures particularly described CONTAINING Each of them One Acre of Land neat measure or in one entire body five acres with their appurtenances TO HOLD the same to them their Several and Respective heirs and assigns forever, as in and by the said recited Indentures relation being thereunto re- respectively had may more fully and at large appear. NOW KNOW YE THAT THE SAID Jacob Millinger Senr for and in Consideration of the sum of One Dollar lawful money of the United States to him well and truly in hand paid by the said Christian Henly, Michael Henly, Christian Rieg, John Mentzer and Adam Sherp Jr. at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he the said Jacob Mellinger Senr. doth hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Christian Henly Michael Henly Christian Rieg John Mentzer and Adam Sherb Jr their heirs and assigns forever by these presents hath remised released and forever quit claimed and by these presents doth remise release and forever quit claim unto the said Christian Henly, Michael Henly, Christian Rieg, John Mentzer and Adam Sherb Jr. and to etheir several and respective heirs and assigns forever ALL the Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Jacob Millinger Senr. which he might or could have concerning the said Judgement Bond of in to or out of all them five lots of ground with their appurtenances situate in the Township of Cocalico aforesaid bounded and described in one entire tract by their lines as follows, to wit: BEGINNING at a stone thence by land of Michael Eberly South eighty three degrees and quarter East thirty four perches & three tenths to a stone thence by other land of Michael Henly South thirty two degrees East ten perches and one quarter to a stone thence by the same South seventy six degrees West fifteen perches to a stone thence by the same South five degrees and a quarter East twenty eight perches to a maple thence by the same South seven degrees and a quarter East nine perches & three quarters to a stone thence by land of David Erren, North seventy eight degrees & a half West three perches & a quarter to a sone thence by Cath. Snerers land North 26 degrees, West 58 ¾ perches to the Place of BEGINNING. CONTAINING in one entire tract five acres of land neat measure TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Lots of Ground above mentioned and described unto the said Christian Henly Michael Henly Christian Rieg John Mentzer and Adam Sherb Jr their heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Christian Henly, Michael Henly, Christian Rieg, John Mentzer and Adam Sherb Jur. Their heirs and assigns forever ever free and discharged from the said Judgement so that neither the said Jacob Mellinger no his heirs nor any other person or persons for him or them or in his or their names or right shall or may by any ways or means whatsoever at any time hereafter claim challenge or demand any estate right title or interest of in to or out of the said five lots of ground lands any premises or any part thereof for or concerning the aforesaid judgement but from all and every action and actions estate right title interest claim and demand of in or to the said five lots of ground and premises or any part or parcel thereof, they and every of them shall be forever debarred by these presents. AND the said Jacob Mellinger and his heirs the said five lots of Ground hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances to the said Christian Henly, Michael Henly Christian Rieg, John Mentzer and Adam Sherb Jur. their heirs and assigns respectively against him the said Jacob Mellinger, Senr. and his heirs shall and will WARRANT and forever DEFEND by these presents. Heitler LANCASTER COUNT, SS: On the seventh day of March Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty five, Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said County Personally appeared the within named Jacob Mellinger Senr. and acknowledged the within and foregoing Release to be his Act and Deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such according to Law.
